When MM decided to make their first blend, they wanted to heighten their vanilla and caramel notes. They did that by finishing the Straight Bourbon (70% Corn, 16% Wheat, 14% Malted Barley) in barrels enriched with SE4 and PR5 oak staves. The staves are a marriage of virgin French oak and toasted American oak, respectively. The final no-age-statement concoction (bottled at 110.8 Proof) champions the two flavors in addition to cinnamon apple, oak, leather, and spices. This Bourbon is carefully made and unique as hell.
