Banks 7 Island Rum 43% ABV

A blend of rums from seven Caribbean Islands (nothing to do with an age statement!), this bottling includes both pot and column distilled spirit aged in ex-bourbon barrels. The philosophy behind Banks is to bring the philosophies of blending from the whisky and Cognac categories into rum a mission we can well get behind.

Tasting notes:

Nose: Warm and gentle, with pineapple, guava, melon and citrus peels, backed up by gentle sweet spices.

Palate: More pronounced that the nose, apricot and peach come in alongside the tropical fruits. Theres banana bread and cinnamon too, all wrapped up in caramel.

Finish: Medium to long, with more juicy fruitness.
