The second wine of Chteau Cantemerle, 5th Grand Cru Class in 1855, Les Alles de Cantemerle comes from the young vines of the estate, and benefits from the same care as its elder.
Intense colour, ranging from ruby to garnet.
Notes of black fruit with blackcurrant and blackberry, followed by empyreumatic aromas that vary between vanilla, roasting and a hint of cinnamon.
Frank attack, consistent mouth, lively finish. All the qualities of the vintage are united. The aromas of tobacco and blackcurrant illustrate the personality of the Cantemerle terroir well.
