Red Wine: 2004 | Chteau de Beaucastel | Chateauneuf-du-Pape (Magnum)"Time has been kind to this wine, as it has really come on strong with bottle age. Crisp, classic and fresh, with a kirsch, spice and herbed, tannic profile. Classic, with loads of bright.

The winery takes its name from the Beaucastel family which lived in Courthzon in the middle of the 16th century. Records show a Pierre de Beaucastel buying a barn and some associated land at Coudoulet in 1549, and this land is still part of Chteau de Beaucastel’s holdings.
