Sitting in the middle of the Armagnac region, the village of Dartigalongue is home to the only remaining old-growth forest in the region. Known for its unique eucalyptus trees, the forest is believed to be over 600 years old. This Dartigalongue 30 year old Vintage Armagnac 1989 is made from eucalyptus trees that are over 600 years old. The fruit for this vintage was distilled in 1989, and it is bottled in 2018. The label is hand-drawn by the owner of the distillery. This Armagnac is full-bodied and complex, with hints of oak, honey, and dried fruit. It is best served neat or on the rocks.
