Good colour; a blend of grenache, mataro and shiraz matured in used oak. An instantly appealing bouquet with bright polished fruits turns right on the palate with spicy and savoury embellishments that provide flavour balance and very good mouthfeel.

Full red colour with a tint of purple, the bouquet shows charry-smoky, cold-ash aromas at first, revealing spiced berries as it aired. The wine is very rich and dense, full-bodied and concentrated with lashings of supple tannins and a long carry augmented by some alcohol warmth. Luscious, full-flavoured and almost opulent.
