The Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru from the Chantal Lescure estate comes from the very prestigious place called Montiotes Hautes and extends over an area of 30 acres. The soil is predominantly clay-limestone, predominantly stony and yields are limited to 30 hectoliters per hectare.
On the nose, we discover notes of red and black fruits cherry, blackberry, redcurrant as well as notes of spices pepper, liquorice.
The mouth is round, ample, faithful to the nose. The tannins remain silky.
The finish is long and delicate.
