Coming from slightly lower elevation parcels (just beside the estate) and older vines, it’s slightly deeper ruby-hued and has a meaty bouquet of black cherries, melted licorice, tapenade, and peppery garrigue. This carries to a more structured, medium to full-bodied, concentrated Gigondas that’s going to benefit from 2-4 years of bottle age.
