Aberlour 9-Year-Old 2013 Carn Mor Oloroso Sherry 47.5% 70cl

Nose: Smooth tangy and rich all rolled into one as the sherry cask shines on the nose, with sweet fruits, hints of soft leather and a pinch of cinnamon and charred oak, sweet and spicy.

Palate: With a smooth and rich palate, lots of dark fruits like Damson and Sultana with fresh figs and subtle strawberry and sweet spices, with chocolate, hints of demerara sugar and a touch of black pepper, some vanilla and honey adding a nice classic tone in the rather good finish.
