Origin and Heritage
From Torbrecks Descendant Vineyard in Marananga, Barossa Valley, this single-vineyard Shiraz/Viognier blend pays homage to Rhne tradition while capturing Barossas signature power and grace. The vineyard was planted in 1994 with cuttings from the iconic RunRig vines.
Grape Composition and Maturation
Made from 92% Shiraz and 8% Viognier, co-fermented and matured for 18 months in seasoned French oak barrels previously used for RunRig. The Viognier component adds aromatic lift and elegance.
