“Muscled up and powerful, with graham cracker aromas and deep, saturated black fruit. For a Southern Rhne red, this has all you could ask for. The palate is sweet, ripe and meaty, with oozing black plum and berries framed perfectly by simple yet tasty oak. And the finish is snappy and lively, yet tannic and rich. The full package, with size and stature. Editors’ Choice.”
The Perrin family have cultivated their love of wine for several generations. The story begins in the early twentieth century with the Chteau de Beaucastel, jewel of Chateauneuf Pape. It was in 1909 that Pierre Tramier acquired the estate. Thereafter, his son in law, Pierre Perrin, followed by his son Jacques Perrin, developed Beaucastel and its vineyards. Today the 5th generation continues the family passion.
