Tyrrells Vat 47 is one of Australias most iconic Chardonnays, sourced from premium Hunter Valley vineyards including the Short Flat, HVD, and NVC sites. The 2008 vintage enjoyed a warm and balanced season, producing fruit of excellent ripeness and intensity. Matured in French oak barriques, the wine shows elegance and complexity.

In the glass, it displays a pale straw-gold hue. Aromas of white peach, melon, citrus zest, and subtle roasted nuts mingle with notes of vanilla and struck flint. The palate is finely structured, balancing richness with bright acidity. Layers of stone fruit, nougat, and mineral freshness carry through to a long, refined finish.
