The first release of this wine was in 2010. The vineyard, located off Jenke Road, was established in 1899, with its western soil combining schist rock over blue grey clay, and goes into making the Bogan, our old vine shiraz. Alte Reben is rich and voluptous and standing right on its feet.

Blackberries, mulberries with hints of espresso and dark chocolate.Huge length of flavour on the palate, yet refined you can taste some of the oak and youthful tannin. Beautifully raw, yet elegant. Its an attractive wine and will age with grace.”
