Vintage and Winemaking

A near-perfect growing season delivered pristine fruit. The grapes were hand-harvested, whole-bunch pressed, and fermented with indigenous yeast in French oak barriques (around 40% new). The wine matured for 11 months on lees with regular btonnage to build texture and complexity.

Colour: Pale straw with green tints.

Nose: Complex and expressive, showing fresh pear, lemon curd, white peach, and roasted cashew, framed by subtle flint and toasted oak.

Palate: Generous yet refined, offering layers of citrus and stone fruit, creamy lees character, and mineral drive. A fine acid line and subtle oak integration lead to a long, focused finish.

Widely awarded and reviewed, the 2015 vintage earned multiple scores in the mid-to-high 90s. James Halliday rated it 98 points, calling it a triumph of precision and power.
