The grapes for the Domaine Capuano-Ferreri Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2020 come from vineyards around the village of Santenay. It spends about 10 months in French oak barrels, about 25% of which are new. That part of the story is fairly simple and, since we dont have any history with this estate, we arent sure if the performance here is typical or the result of the fruit-packed, highly successful, ripe and extracted 2020 vintage in Burgundy. Either way, this ample, expressive Pinot is a winner.
