The 2022 Tradition Red from Place of Changing Winds is a refined, terroir-driven blend crafted from Syrah and a touch of Marsanne and Roussanne, inspired by the classic reds of the Northern Rhne. Sourced from granite soils in Harcourt, Central Victoria, this wine reflects a philosophy of minimal intervention and deep site expression.

Hand-harvested and fermented with whole bunches, the wine is matured in neutral oak and ceramic to preserve purity and finesse. Aromas of dark cherry, wild herbs, black pepper, and graphite lead into a palate of red and black fruits, savoury spice, and stony minerality. Fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity carry a long, elegant finish.

This is a medium-bodied red with great energy, tension, and a sense of placedrinking beautifully now and capable of short to mid-term cellaring.
