Launched in 2103 Avin Reserva 44 is handcrafted in limited batches in the small town of Jesus Maria, Mexico. This Extra Aejo tequila is made from single origin, blue agave grown at the highest elevation for 7 to 10 years. Slow roasted in brick ovens for 3 days before removing significant ‘heads’ and ‘tails’ during the distillation process, leaving only the purest heart of the distillate. Matured for 43 months in American oak barrels before being transferred for a final month into smaller casks (which are rotated daily), for a total aging period of 44 (hence the name) months. Bottled at 40%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Finely roasted agave with hints of warm vanilla and spice.

Palate: Expertly complex infusion of ripe, luscious fruits and fragrant American oak. Aged to perfection for a dark, rich flavour experience.

Finish: A medium-long, dry and nutty finish.
