Tequila Carrera and master distiller Mauricio Camarena has been dedicated to the manufacture of tequila for over 15 years. All agaves are grown 6-8 years to maturity and then cooked in a stone/brick oven.
The aged tequilas are kept in a combination of barrels: 30% new American oak, 20% used bourbon barrels, and 50% used tequila barrels.
With its light golden glow the reposado has a soft vanilla aroma with cooked agave and bananas. The palate is up front with vanilla followed by more agave on the finish.
