The 1994 vintage of Croft comes to us in the glass as a deep, opaque black garnet colour. The nose has much more definition than previous vintage and gives us sweet ripe black cherries, bilberry and violets. The palate is sweet, ripe and elegant with a lovely poise and tension, certainly the best Croft since 1966! With very ripe tannins and black cherries, bilberry, cassis and good minerality that comes with the finish.
