The Antonin Guyon estateone of Burgundys most prestigiousextends across some of the most renowned vineyards of the Cte dOr. Owned by the Guyon family, whose roots in the wine trade stretch back through generations, the estate is a true testament to tradition and excellence. Today, brothers Michel and Dominique Guyon carefully steward the legacy of this remarkable 119-acre domaine, a shining example of a family-run estate at the heart of Burgundy.

Meursault lies in the Southern part of the Cte de Beaune. The Eastern exposure is ideal, ensuring maximum sunlight during the day. The Domaine GUYON wine area for Meursault-Charmes 1er Cru Les Charmes Dessus covers 0.69 hectare (1.7 acres). Hand-harvested, the grapes are then carried in small boxes and sorted out upon arrival at the winery. The alcoholic fermentation is carried out at 18-20C in oak cask. The lees are stirred in cask once a week. Ageing in oak barrels (30% new oak) and estate bottling after 15 months.

Lovely golden color. Honeyed nose, very rich in the mouth with very good depth. Although tempting now, this wine can be laid down for another 10 years.
