The flagship cuve of the House, Champagne Gremillet Brut Ambassadeur NV is a stunning expression of Pinot Noirdriven Champagne, delivering richness, elegance, and finesse. With ripe fruit, baked biscuit flavours, and classic brioche notes, this wine embodies the Gremillet style generous yet perfectly balanced with refreshing citrus lift. A Champagne that delivers on all fronts, equally suited to celebration or refined dining.
The Gremillet estate was founded in 1979 by Jean-Michel Gremillet, who inherited a small vineyard from his mother. Today the family-owned domaine manages over 40 hectares in the southern part of the Champagne region near Troyes. Their Champagnes are now served in French embassies worldwide, testament to their quality and reputation.
The estates vineyards in the Aube enjoy warmer conditions than the northern Champagne districts, achieving excellent ripeness and fruit concentration. Only the first and finest pressings are used. After primary fermentation, the wine undergoes its secondary fermentation slowly in bottle and is matured on its lees for a minimum of 22 months, allowing complex brioche and toasty notes to develop before disgorgement and release.
Fresh floral aromas are layered with sweet brioche and peach skin, supported by baked biscuit complexity. The palate is rich yet finely poised, with bright citrus acidity carrying through to a crisp, elegant finish.
Perfect as an apritif, served well chilled, or as a versatile partner to light nibbles, fresh salads, and simple fish dishes.
Pinot Noir 70%, Chardonnay 30%
