Domaine Guillemard-Clerc exemplifiesprecise, classic Puligny-Montrachet, displaying a beautiful balance of fruit, minerality, andracy acidity.Domaine Guillemard-Clerc is owned by Corinne Guillemard-Clerc. She is the 3rdgeneration of grape growers on the Guillemard side. Corinne created her Domaine in 2003and is the first to make the vinification and bottle under the family name. Finding anyvolume is difficult here as the Domaine only owns 10 hectares divided between 15appellations & 17 parcels; the majority is in Puligny and Beaune. The fruit is handharvested, sorted and pressed directly to barrel for fermentation. Oak is used sparingly and rarely exceeds 20% new barrels.
