Hankey Bannister may not be the first name that comes to mind when thinking of whisky blends, but witha history that dates back to 1757 and consistently high quality, this is undoubtedly one of the world’s best blends. The 21yo Partner’s Reserve is an excellent example of an old fashioned, high quality blend for a reasonable price. Bottled at 43%.

Nose: Aromatic with dried fruit, nuts and vanilla oak.

Palate: Creamy toffee with vanilla, hints of fruit cake with dark chocolate, orange and tobacco.

Finish: A smooth and malty, lingering finish accompanied by notes of maple syrup, caramel and toasted oak.
