Knob Creek is one of the special small batch brands of Beam-Suntory. Along with its sister labels Bookers, Bakers, and Basil Haydens its tailored to the more discriminating Bourbon-lover (and that means YOU). To tell you all about Knob Creek Quarter Oak we have to tell you about Whiskey barrels. Barrels are hard to get and expensive every Spirits-producer on the planet wants them. Big barrels hold more using less wood per volume so they are on-average cheaper to use. Small casks give better Spirit to wood contact so the aging process is faster and more flavor gets into the Spirit. Knob Creek Quarter Oak is that wonderful Knob Creek signature Bourbon that we LOVE, but some of it has been rested in small, quarter-sized casks. This means that the vanilla and caramel flavors shine out even more.
