Barbarus is usually an all black label with a more concentrated red wine, but due to the excessive hail and rain this year, Frank decided to make a riff on the wine with a white label and a direct press light red wine and aged in steel tanks. This wine is made with 80%Garnacha Tintorera, which is otherwise known asAlicante Bouchette, along with 20% Palomino, which is a grape commonly used to make Sherry of Jerez.
Floral and mineral with lots of berries and forest memories, puffs of sweet spices and balsamic notes.
