The Listening Station Chardonnay is a bright, citrussy white that showcases the freshness and elegance of modern Australian winemaking. Unoaked and refreshing, it balances zesty citrus with ripe white peach and a crisp mineral finish a vibrant expression of Victorian Chardonnay.
Meet the producer
Quintessentially Australian, the Listening Station range is known for consistent quality and approachable styles that deliver exceptional value. Produced by Boutinot Australia, these wines reflect the countrys diverse terroirs and commitment to characterful, food-friendly wines.
Production
The Victorian vineyards grow on sandy loam soils derived from granite and gneissic bedrock. Moderate fertility and yields ensure grapes with concentrated flavour. This Chardonnay clone naturally expresses a distinctive tangerine peel note. Grapes were harvested at night to retain freshness, with no malolactic fermentation or oak ageing, resulting in a clean, crisp style with high natural acidity. A judicious addition of Langhorne Creek Chardonnay contributes texture and weight, creating a rounded yet vibrant final wine.
Tasting notes
Zesty citrus and ripe white peach are lifted by bright acidity and a clean, linear mineral finish. Unoaked and fresh, this Chardonnay is elegant, pure, and wonderfully drinkable.
Food match
Pairs beautifully with tempura vegetables, aromatic chicken salads, or crispy Chinese-style pork.
