There is even a character named after him in the HBO series “Silicon Valley.”Well, he wanted to have his own premium Tequila and what billionaire wouldnt so he partnered with industry giant Diageo to craft and market his new creation.

Tres Comas Anejo Tequila is called “Tres Comas” because when you write out a billion dollars numerically the number has three commas in it. Yes, Russ Hanneman is a bit crazy but we like that kind of thing. But they also created a darn fine Tequila made from 100% blue agave and barrel-aged in American oak for more than a year, which qualifies as an Aejo. It also means that this Tequila has plenty of vanilla and wood notes to complement the herbals of the Spirit.
