Germn searched far and wide for a vineyard with such a remarkable story to tell. At a privileged point 3,200 feet above sea level, the Eolo vineyard, planted in 1912 by Italian immigrants whose ancestors still farm the vineyards today, spreads out above the northern bank of the Mendoza River. Surrounded by centuries old olive trees this venerable Malbec vineyard captures the intense concentration and complexity of these wisened vines. Today, like in ages past, the farmers guiding hands and the winemakers guiding vision bring Eolo to life so that each vintage reveals the terroirs true expression.
